India recorded 46,759 fresh cases of coronavirus on Saturday, the daily caseload crossing 40,000-mark for the third day in a row, according to the Union Health Ministry’s data. Five states accounted for 89.42 per cent of the total cases, with Kerala contributing 32,801 cases in the past 24 hours, followed by Maharashtra with 4,654 cases, Tamil Nadu with 1,542 cases, Andhra Pradesh with 1,512 cases and Karnataka with 1,301 cases.
