Hunting lionesses failed kudu hunt in Kruger National Park next to the Sabie River close to Lower Sabie Restcamp.

While on a private open vehicle game drive safari with @hudsonandemily we came across these two lionesses that just missed a kudu female on a hunt. After spending some time with them they tried again to hunt.

This was truly an amazing experience to see this hunt happen right in front of us on the road on the open.

After the second failed hunt the lioness lost her partner and was looking for her by calling and roaring softly to regain contact with the other lioness.
