कुछ दिन पहले ही एक विवाद सामने आया जिसमे महिला पहलवान विनेश फोगाट का नाम शामिल था। हुआ यू की उन्होंने ओलंपिक खेलों दौरान मैनेजमेंट द्वारा युक्त किट पर आधिकारिक प्रायोजक का लोगो लगाने की बजाये विदेशी कंपनी का लोगो लगा मैच खेला। इतना ही नहीं उन्होंने अपने साथी रेस्टलेर्स साथ ट्रेनिंग करने से भी इंकार कर दिया था। इस मामले में WFI ने उन्हें ससपेंड भी किया था। अब खबर आ रही है की विनेश ने अपनी गलती को मानते हुए WFI से माफ़ी मांगी है। अब जल्द ही WFI इस मामले में फैसला सुनाएगा।
