Vinesh Phogat clinched the bronze medal at the 2019 World Wrestling Championships in Kazakhstan. The medal was Vinesh Phogat’s first medal at the Wrestling Championships and was also India’s first medal in 2019 edition. Earlier, Phogat had also become the first Indian wrestler to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
