Grandson of Major Dhyan Chand, Vishal Singh reacted on renaming of the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award. He said, “Renaming the Khel Ratna award to Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna award will encourage sportspersons. He deserves to be conferred with the Bharat Ratna award.” Yesterday, PM Modi announced he renaming of the country’s highest sporting honour, after hockey wizard Major Dhyan Chand.
