Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday announced the Khel Ratna award will now be named the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award. This move comes a day after India's men won the hockey bronze at the Tokyo Olympics and hours after the India women's hockey team missed out on a maiden Olympic medal. Dhyan Chand is regarded as one of the greatest hockey players of all time. Dhyan Chand had played key roles in winning gold medals for India at the 1928, 1932 and 1936 Olympics. Watch this video.
