India's medal secured! Boxer Lovlina reaches semifinal

In the Tokyo Olympics, Boxer Lovlina Borgohain has defeated Chinese Taipei’s Nien-Chin Chen to help India secure its second medal at the Olympics. The 22-year-old boxer from Assam defeated her Chinese Taipei opponent convincingly by 4-1 to storm into the semifinals. On Friday, Lovlina created history as she assured India of its second medal in the ongoing Tokyo Olympics. Lovlina is only the third Indian boxer after Mary Kom and Vijender Singh to win a boxing medal for India at the Olympics. Now in the Olympics, India has started getting medals from hockey and badminton as well. In hockey today, India defeated Japan 5-3. At the same time, in badminton, India's PV Sindhu has made it to the semi-finals. She defeated Yamaguchi of Japan in two straight games. Watch this special episode.
