Maharashtra Monsoon Mayhem: System is geared up to tackle situtation, says state administration

Heavy rains continue to pound parts of Maharashtra, leading to damage to life and property. Several districts are facing knee depth apathy, forcing people to leave their shelters. Heavy downpours have led to incidents of landslides and heavy flooding. Many villages have been cut off as the roads have turned into rivelets.
