In this fast-paced world, where networking appears to play more prominence than quality of candidates, it makes us ask the question, what is the value of a CV? However, CV/Resume submission is still a norm. This led us to ask a question how can we make this resume creation simple and fun, and this application is the first one to answer this question in this series of offerings on the HR front.
What is the inspiration?
Have you watched the movie, Legally Blonde, where the lead character presents a colorful and scented resume for one of her interviews. We wondered whether we could create one such resume that is fun, colorful, and can be easily changed, and that led us to this application. Unlike that movie, we want this resume utilized by all types of demographics that includes Legally Bald as well.
Is this creation totally new?
We already had a web application in place for a while now that was compatible with smartphones across platforms, and this offering is to expand further on this offering exclusively for Android Smartphones.
What is different compared to the first version?
The user interface is different. In addition, this application allows the following:
1. Ability to change colors for the background, different sections, lines and fonts
2. Ability to generate image files
3. Ability to generate a physical pdf file through two different ways
4. Ability to change font type
