Cause for cautious optimism in Victoria despite 22 new infections

While today's number of new cases in Victoria felt quite high, there is cause for cautious optimism. All the the 22 new cases are linked to known outbreaks and most were already in isolation, which means there are relatively few new exposure alerts. However, businesses are on the brink and the state government is pumping hundreds of millions of dollars into its support package.
