The Centre on Monday rejected media reports that claimed phones numbers of Indian ministers, opposition leaders and journalists were allegedly bugged using the Israel spy software Pegasus, saying that "no unauthorised interception" has taken place.
The Supreme Court asked the Kerala government to file its response during the day on an application against the three-day relaxation in Covid-19 restrictions in the state in view of the upcoming Bakrid festival.
