There should be structured debate: Parliamentary Affairs Minister ahead of Monsoon Session

Speaking to reporters before the start of the Monsoon Session on Monday, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi echoed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call for meaningful discussion during house proceedings. On the adjournment notices moved by Opposition parties, Pralhad Joshi said the government won't run away from debate.

"We're meeting after 3-4 months, we've pending bills. People have hopes with Opposition and government. There should be debate, we're ready to reply," said Joshi.
