The Kanwar Sangh has decided to call off the annual Kanwar Yatra in view of Covid-19. After cancelling the Kanwar Yatra in the state, the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government had initiated talks with Kanwar unions to convince them to suspend the Yatra, which was set to begin July 25. The Kanwar Sangh's decision comes two days ahead of the Supreme Court's deadline to comply with its directive to reconsider allowing the pilgrimage. Watch the video.
