Shoaib Akhtar के क्या ही कहने. अब तो टीवी चैनलों पर खुलेआम कोच बनने की दावेदारी पेश कर रहे हैं. कह तो रहे हैं कि मुझे कोच बना दो, फिर पाकिस्तान के गेंदबाजों को सबसे बेस्ट बना दूंगा. इसलिए आलोचना करने का कोई न कोई बहाना ढूंढते रहते हैं. ताकि कुछ तो PCB उन्हें ऑफर करें. पहले नहीं स्वीकारते थे. देश प्रेम बताते थे. अब बातों से लगता है कि कुछ और ही प्रेम है. खैर, इंग्लैंड को पहले मैच में Pakistan ने हराया. शानदार बल्लेबाजी की. गेंदबाजी की और फील्डिंग का मुजाहिरा भी देखने को मिला.

Shoaib Akhtar wants Pakistan to focus on the longer formats of the game and not T20Is. “If Pakistan wins the World Cup this year, then it should not surprise anyone. But even if they manage to win the World Cup, are they going in the right direction? No, they aren’t. T20 is not our aim and it shouldn’t be our aim as well,” Akhtar was quoted as saying by Cricket Pakistan after Pakistan's victory over England in the first T20I.
