Today is the second day of Gupt Navratri. Maa Brahmacharini, the second form of Maa Durga, is worshiped on this day. It is a belief that whoever worships Maa Brahmacharini with full devotion, gets the desired results. Brahmacharani- is made up of two words Brahma meaning penance and Charani meaning conduct. Its meaning is that Mother Brahmacharani is the goddess who does penance. During Gupt Navratri, seekers please them by doing hard worship, chanting and penance, due to which they get the desired groom. गुप्त नवरात्रि का आज दूसरा दिन है। आज के दिन मां दुर्गा के दूसरे स्वरूप मां ब्रह्मचारिणी की पूजा-उपासना की जाती है। ऐसी मान्यता है कि जो भी व्यक्ति मां ब्रह्मचारिणी की पूजा श्रद्धा रूपेण करते हैं, उसे मनोवांछित फलों की प्राप्ति होती है। ब्रह्मचारणी- दो शब्द ब्रह्म अर्थात तप और चारणी अर्थात आचरण से मिलकर बना है। इसका भावार्थ है कि मां ब्रह्मचारणी तप करने वाली देवी है। गुप्त नवरात्रि में साधक कठिन पूजा, जप और तप कर उन्हें प्रसन्न करते हैं, जिससे उन्हें मनचाहे वर की प्राप्ति होती है। आइए, मां का स्वरूप, पूजा का शुभ मुहूर्त, तिथि और पूजा विधि जानते हैं-
