Back-to-school plans hang on pending lockdown decision

Residents in Greater Sydney, The Blue Mountains, Wollongong and Shellharbour will learn tomorrow if their lockdowns will finish this Friday night. If they extend into next week, the back-to-school plans of thousands of students and their families will be affected. Schools principals have been warned home learning could be implemented again at short notice, with the Delta variant a particular concern for education authorities.
