Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh is likely to meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday to give final shape to the truce formula to end the infighting in the state party unit, sources said. The Congress party is also likely to soon make announcements to end Navjot Singh Sidhu’s revolt against CM Amarinder Singh. Meanwhile, 84-year-old activist Stan Swamy, an accused in the Elgar Parishad-Maoist links case, died on Monday, his counsel informed the Bombay High Court. As the court took up his bail plea hearing on Monday, Stan Swamy's lawyer told the bench that his medical condition worsened late Sunday night.
