At 43,071, India sees decline in new Covid-19 cases

A further decline was seen in new Covid-19 cases across the country with 43,071 people testing positive in the last 24 hours, said the Union health ministry on Sunday.
The number stood at 44,111 the day before. With the addition of new infections, the cumulative tally reached 3,05,45,433. Meanwhile, the death toll increased to 4,02,005 after 955 people succumbed to the disease.
