The Umkhonto we Sizwe Military Veterans' Association has been vocal in defending former president Jacob Zuma. It even went as far as to say it would protect him from being arrested. MKMVA members have been maintaining a presence outside Zuma’s homestead in Nkandla. Judgment Day has come and Zuma has been sentenced to 15 months in prison for contempt of court.
