The swords are out once again in the Congress in Punjab—between chief minister Amarinder Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu, his former cabinet colleague and Congress MLA from Amritsar East. Amarinder has put the Congress central leadership in a fix by directly taking on Sidhu and daring him to contest elections from Patiala, the chief minister’s home district.
