BCCI secretary Jay Shah confirmed on Monday that the 2021 edition of the T20 World Cup will be shifted to the UAE. "We will inform ICC today that we are shifting the T20 World Cup to UAE. The dates of the tournament, the ICC needs to decide," the BCCI Secretary told ANI. Meanwhile, IPL's 14th edition will also be completed in the UAE. The IPL is set to get underway on September 19 and the final is to be played on October 15.

आखिरकार T20 World Cup शिफ्ट हो गया है. युएई में T20 World Cup को शिफ्ट कर दिया गया है. फाइनली BCCI को जवाब मिल गया है. अब ICC को बताना बस बाकी है. T20 World Cup के आयोजन पर इससे पहले लगातार संदेह बरकरार था. पर BCCI ने अब साफ़ कर दिया है कि मेजबानी जाने नहीं देंगे. और युएई में T20 World Cup का सफल आयोजन कराएंगे. गौर हो, पिछले महीने बीसीसीआई ने आईसीसी से T20 World Cup पर कुछ वक्त माँगा था. और BCCI को ICC ने 28 जून तक का वक्त दिया था.
