Covaxin's Phase 2/3 trial on children to be completed by September

Delhi AIIMS director Dr Randeep Guleria told India Today TV that Covaxin's data for children after completion of the Phase 2/3 trials will be available by September and the approval is expected same month.
Delhi AIIMS has already started screening children for these trials. This started on June 7 and involves children between the age of 2 to 17.
Emphasising that sero surveys have pointed towards antibody production in children, Dr. Guleria says he does not have any reason to believe that children will be worst impacted.
