1 tbsp. coriander seeds
1/2 tbsp cumin seeds
1/4 tsp. black cumin seeds
1/2 tsp. black peppercorns
3 - 4 pieces cloves
2 - 3 pieces black cardamoms
2 - 3 green cardamoms
2 pieces cinnamon sticks
0.32 grams nutmeg
0.32 grams mace
1 small piece of star anise
3 pieces round red chili
1/4 tsp. citric acid
1 cup cooking oil
1 small bay leaf
1 & 1/2 tbsp. ginger garlic paste
1/2 kg beef
4 - 5 cups of water
1/2 cup wheat
1/3 cup barley
1/2 cup split yellow pea (Chana dal)
1/4 cup rice
1/4 cup split mung
1/4 cup red lentil (masoor)
1/4 cup mash lentils (urad dal)
1/2 cup cooking oil (for tarka)
1 medium onion
1/2 tsp or as required chaat masala
