Tamil Nadu suspends vaccination drive due to shortage of doses

Tamil Nadu is suspending its vaccination drive in 36 districts. The Health Minister said that there were only 1060 vaccines and that too in Chennai alone. However, 86,000 doses of Covaxin against State Govt Order are just being received in SVS DPH now.

Tamil Nadu is also the state which reported the maximum number of cases on Thursday with 18,023 cases, followed by Kerala with 15,567 cases, Maharashtra with 10,891 cases, Karnataka with 9,808 cases and Andhra Pradesh with 7,796 cases.
