Uddhav Thakckery to meet PM Modi today on Maratha reservation

A delegation of the Maharashtra cabinet, led by Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, will meet with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss a wide gamut of issues. The most prominent topic of discussion would be the long-awaited matter of the Maratha reservation. Earlier, the Maharashtra CM had written to the Prime Minister requesting him to declare the community as '' socially and economically backward'' so that they could be eligible to apply for the quota.
