The Punjab government has been accused of procuring Covid vaccines from manufacturing companies Bharat Biotech and Serum Institute at Rs 400 and selling them to private hospitals at Rs 1500 to 1700, at a time when people are struggling to get vaccinated. Reacting to allegations against the Punjab government of earning profits from the Covid vaccination drive, state Health Minister BS Sidhu said he will set an inquiry and will personally inquire into the matter.
