Subodh Kumar Jaiswal, the head of the CISF, has been appointed as the new director of the CBI. He will have a tenure of two years. Subodh Jaiswal is a 1985 batch IPS officer. The decision was taken at a meeting of the High Level Committee held on Monday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

CISF के प्रमुख सुबोध कुमार जयसवाल को CBI का नया डायरेक्टर नियुक्त किया गया है. उनका कार्यकाल दो साल का होगा. सुबोध जायसवाल 1985 बैच आईपीएस अफसर हैं. प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी की अध्यक्षता में सोमवार को हुई हाई लेवल कमिटी की मीटिंग में इसका फैसला लिया गया।
