Massive fire breaks out at a plant of the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL) in Malkapuram near Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. The local administration rushed in fire tenders from different industrial units in the district to douse the fire.

A team of experts from the Indian Navy also rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation and help the administrator control the situation. So far, there are no reports of any loss of life or injuries suffered in the tragedy.
