India recorded 1,96,427 lakh fresh cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. India's daily new coronavirus cases dropped below the 2-lakh mark for the first time after 40 days. The daily recoveries outnumbered new cases for the 12th consecutive day, the Union Health Ministry said on Tuesday. The death toll, meanwhile, climbed to 3,07,231 with 3,511 deaths in a day.
