The center of low pressure in the Bay of Bengal has now taken the form of a Cyclone Yaas. After this, it has started to move slowly towards north-north-west. On May 26, heavy to very heavy rainfall is predicted in Nadia, Bardhaman, Bankura, Purulia and Birbhum.

Gujarat और Maharashtra समेत कई राज्यों में तबाही मचाने के बाद अब Cyclone Tauktae शांत हो गया है. इस तूफान से अभी देश बाहर भी नहीं निकला कि अब खबर है कि एक और Cyclone Yaas Odisha और West Bengal में तबाही मचाएगा. Bay of Bengal में 155-165 किमी प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से चक्रवात यास बढ़ रहा है। ये उत्तर-उत्तर पश्चिम की तरफ बढ़ने लगा है।
