The Health Ministry today reported 4,865 new Covid-19 cases, of which nearly half were from the Klang Valley alone.

A new daily death record was set today. The known number of people who died due to Covid-19 has reached 1,994.

The number of active Covid-19 cases are continuing on an uptrend since mid-March. Today also marked a record number of Covid-19 patients in intensive care or need ventilators to breath.
