Amid shortage of Covid-19 vaccine doses, over the past 24 hours, Delhi and Andhra Pradesh chief ministers have appealed to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to allow private companies to ramp up Covaxin production. Looking at the ongoing situation, the Centre has promised to ramp up Covid vaccine production by July 2021.
