Blanket loan moratorium not the best solution, says Bank Negara

Bank Negara Malaysia has said that a blanket loan moratorium may not be the best solution for borrowers as a nationwide movement control order (MCO) returns.
Governor Nor Shamsiah Mohd Yunus said borrowers should instead approach banks to help them meet their debt obligations.
She said all banks already have their payment assistance plans, including targeted loan moratoriums.
