Delhi hospitals face severe oxygen crunch, people queue outside oxygen filling stations

Faced with an acute shortage of medical oxygen, kin of patients admitted to Delhi hospitals are running from pillar to post to arrange oxygen on their own. Long queues were seen outside oxygen filling centers as families desperately waited for their turn.

Delhi recorded the highest single-day rise in its Covid-19 death toll with 380 fatalities recorded on Monday, while the positivity rate stood at over 35%, according to the latest bulletin issued by the city health department. Delhi recorded over 20,201 fresh Covid-19 cases on Monday.
