Delhi: Women doctors launch helpline for Covid-19 patients in Vasant Vihar
  • 3 years ago
Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s appeal to doctors to reach out to Covid-19 patients in distress amid an exponential rise in cases, a group of five women doctors in Delhi have started free consultations through teleconferencing.

The group, which has launched a helpline in Delhi's Vasant Vihar area, is focusing on psychiatric and psychological issues to dispel stress, fear and anxiety among the people during the pandemic. The initiative is aimed at boosting the motivation of Covid-19 patients who are in home isolation. Under the initiative, the doctors respond to queries on phone, video conferencing and WhatsApp free of cost.
