World Veterinary Day is widely observed annually on the last Saturday of April, every year across the world. This year, it falls on April 24. With the objective, ‘to provide global leadership for the veterinary profession and promote animal health and welfare and public health, through advocacy, education, and partnership’, World Veterinary Association (WVA) set out with its endeavour.

हर साल अप्रैल महीने के आखिरी शनिवार को विश्व पशु चिकित्सा दिवस मनाया जाता है। और आज अप्रैल महीने का आखिरी शनिवार है। यानि कि आज 24 अप्रैल को विश्व पशु चिकित्सा दिवस मनाया जा रहा है। इस दिवस को मनाये जाने का मुख्य उद्देश्य पशुओं के रोगों से सम्बंधित दवाओं पर चर्चा करना और उनके प्रति लोगों को जागरूक करना है।
