Author Ian Millhiser explains how Republicans are using courts to impose their policy agenda

Is Roe v. Wade doomed? Is the Voting Rights Act secure? With today’s conservative-leaning Supreme Court, the future of major legislation is uncertain, says Supreme Court expert Ian Millhiser. “When you control the Supreme Court, you have the option to abandon democracy,” the author and Vox correspondent said on “Salon Talks.”




Millhiser’s new book “The Agenda” is focused on how the Republican majority in the Supreme Court is having a lasting impact and is a way for the party to work its policy agenda in the background.
