Amid growing coronavirus cases, Maharashtra is at loggerheads with the Centre over acute supply of Covid-19 vaccine doses and oxygen. The war of words continued between the two as the state reported another 67,000 Covid-19 cases on Sunday.
To deal with the crisis, meanwhile, the Centre on Sunday banned the supply of the gas for industrial purposes except in nine specified areas and expedited installation of 162 PSA plants in health facilities across the country, while the Railways announced special trains to transport the life-saver.
