Maharashtra fights Covid: State faces oxygen cylinders crisis amid virus resurgence

As India recorded over two lakh new COVID-19 cases for the second straight day, a number of states, including Maharashtra, have reported acute supply of medical oxygen for patients in need of oxygen support. The Consumption of medical oxygen in Maharashtra has reached the state’s full production capacity of 1,250 tonnes and the state CM Uddhav Thackeray has appealed to the Centre to it.
