As campaign fever rises in West Bengal in view of the 2021 assembly elections, there has been an exponential rise in Covid-19 cases in the state. Despite the Calcutta High Court's order on strict implementation of Covid-related protocols during election campaigns in poll-bound West Bengal, some politicians continue to flout basic rules such as maintaining social distancing and wearing face masks.
