Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday attacked the Pinarayi Vijayan-led Left Democratic Front government in Kerala while addressing his first rally in Palakkad. Targeting the LDF, PM Modi spoke about the controversial gold smuggling scam in which Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is facing allegations. In his rally, PM Modi said, “Judas betrayed Lord Christ for a few pieces of silver. The LDF has betrayed Kerala for a few pieces of gold.” Assembly polls in Kerala are going to be held on April 6.
