President Ram Nath Kovind, who complained of chest discomfort on Friday morning, has been shifted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in Delhi where he will undergo a bypass surgery on March 30. “President Ram Nath Kovind has been shifted to AIIMS, Delhi, today afternoon. Post investigations, doctors have advised him to undergo a planned bypass procedure which is expected to be performed on the morning of March 30. His health is stable,” news agency ANI quoted the President’s Secretariat as saying.

राष्ट्रपति सचिवालय ने शनिवार को राष्ट्रपति रामनाथ कोविंद के स्वास्थ्य को लेकर जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि आज दोपहर दिल्ली के एम्स में उन्हें शिफ्ट किया गया. जांच के बाद डॉक्टरों ने उन्हें एक नियोजित बाईपास प्रक्रिया से गुजरने की सलाह दी है, जो 30 मार्च की सुबह होने की उम्मीद है. अभी उनका स्वास्थ्य स्थिर है. सीने में दर्द की शिकायत के बाद शुक्रवार को राष्ट्रपति कोविंद को आर्मी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था.
