Police have recovered the body of a BJP worker from Keshiyari area of West Midnapore district on Saturday morning at a time when voting was on for the first phase of the Bengal assembly election.

A BJP delegation led by Kailash Vijayvargiya is also scheduled to meet the CEO at 2 pm.

The TMC on Saturday accused the BJP of capturing several polling booths in Midnapore while the saffron party accused TMC of malpractices.
