States ban public Holi celebration amidst surge in Covid-19 cases

In view of the rising daily Covid-19 cases across India, many states, including Delhi and Mumbai, have imposed a ban on public Holi celebrations. Citing the prevailing coronavirus situation, the Delhi government has imposed a ban on Holi celebrations in public places.  

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Mumbai’s civic body, has prohibited celebration of Holi in public or private spaces.
