It is said that the urge to win elections should not be done by the candidates. One such view has been seen in Nagapattinam in Tamil Nadu. All India Anna DMK Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK) candidate Thanga Kathiravan, who went out for election campaign here, could not stop herself from seeing a woman washing clothes on the tap. He took clothes from the woman and started washing herself. The AIADMK candidate says that once the election is won, he will give washing machines to the people.

कहते हैं चुनाव जीतने की ललक उम्मीदवारों से जो कुछ न करा दे। एक ऐसा ही नजारा तमिलनाडु के नगापट्टिनम में देखने को मिला है। यहां चुनाव प्रचार के लिए निकले ऑल इंडिया अन्ना द्रमुक मुनेत्र कड़गम (AIADMK) के उम्मीदवार थंगा कथिरावन नल पर एक महिला को कपड़े धोते देख खुद को रोक नहीं पाए। वह महिला से कपड़े लेकर खुद कपड़े धोने लगे। एआईएडीएमके उम्मीदवार का कहना है कि एक बार चुनाव जीत जाने के बाद वह लोगों को वाशिंग मशीन देंगे।
