Protester clings to hood of LAPD car during clashes at Breonna Taylor rally

Protesters marking the anniversary of Breonna Taylor’s death clashed with cops in Hollywood late Saturday.
At least 200 people took to Hollywood and Vine late Saturday calling for justice for Taylor, who was fatally shot by police in her Louisville, Kentucky, in a botched raid one year ago.
At one point, a group of protesters dressed all in black — some holding umbrellas as smoke filled the air around them — were filmed blocking a line of at least six LAPD squad cars trying to get through.
The anniversary of Taylor’s death saw protests and marches throughout several cities in the US — mostly peaceful.
But in Seattle, police said on Twitter that 13 people had been arrested overnight in clashes with police in the Washington State city.
Police said protesters “broke multiple windows” and vandalized several downtown businesses.
A Kentucky judge last week signed an order permanently closing a criminal case against Walker for firing at the officer.

Walker filed a federal lawsuit against the Louisville Metro Police Department on Friday, alleging his constitutional rights were violated during the botched raid.
