Baby owl clings on for dear life up a tree

The Tawny Owlet was 'branching', when they leave the nest before they can actually fly. Its mum seems completely oblivious as the owlet desperately battles to get upright again and even flies away as its chick clings on by a talon. After fighting a losing battle, the owlet tumbles 30 foot to the ground, but luckily it was unhurt and was soon safely back up in the tree. The footage was captured by Kate MacRae, a wildlife consultant who has appeared on Springwatch, Autumnwatch and Countryfile.
