India on Tuesday registered a total of 15,388 new coronavirus cases. The Union Health Ministry said on Monday that six states in the country have contributed over 85 per cent of the total cases in the span of 24 hours. Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, Karnataka, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu are the six states that cumulatively account for 86.25 per cent of the new coronavirus cases.
