The Election Commission of India announced the poll schedule for the Tamil Nadu Assembly election 2021 on Friday. The voting to elect a total of 234 Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) will be done in a single phase on April 6, the ECI said. The last date of nominations is March 19; scrutiny of nominations on March 20; the last date of withdrawal of candidature is March 22 while the counting will be done on May 2.
