The central government is bringing laws regulating digital content in the country and will implement these laws in the next three months. Union Ministers Ravi Shankar Prasad and Prakash Javadekar have announced this on Thursday. Both said that there should be proper mechanism for social media companies. Ravi Shankar Prasad said that social media should do business in India, but double standard will not work.

केंद्र सरकार देश में डिजिटल कॉन्टेंट को नियमित करने वाले कानून ला रही है और ये कानून अगले तीन महीने में लागू करेगी. केंद्रीय मंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद और प्रकाश जावड़ेकर ने गुरुवार को इसकी घोषणा की है. दोनों ने कहा सोशल मीडिया कंपनियों के लिए प्रॉपर मैकेनिज्म होना चाहिए. रविशंकर प्रसाद ने कहा कि सोशल मीडिया भारत में बिजनेस करें, लेकिन डबल स्टैंडर्ड नहीं चलेगा.
